We are a farmers' market selling local agricultural produce, sweet potato shochu called "Heigun", and a lot of other local craftwork and various goods under the certification of "Yanai Brand".
Our popular farmers' restaurant called "Yamazato Hizumi" serves a lot of local dishes and vegetables in buffet style during lunch time. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., it is a cafe serving cake sets and drinks.

We are a shopping centre selling a variety of local specialities including agricultural and marine produces. Igai Meshi(rice cooked with shell meat of Igai), Tai Zushi(sushi using sea bream), hand-made lunch boxes, and processed food in Obatake area and Kikka-su (citrus vinegar) are very popular.
From the long Oshima Bridge connecting Obatake and Oshima with a total length of 1,020 metres, you can see the magnificent view of Obatake-Seto Strait, one of the three major tidal currents in Japan.

We are a confectionary shop selling our original sweets using unique local ingredients, such as Kanro Joyu (vintage soy sauce) and Jinenjo (Japanese wild yam). Many other fresh cakes using the highest quality whipped cream, and Japanese sweets called "Doppo" named after Mr. Doppo Kunikida, the great novelist in modern Japan, are our popular lines.

This is the headquarters and main outlet of Yamaguchi's famous confectioner.
You can not only buy freshly-baked confectionaries directly from the factory, but also join factory tours and cake making lessons.
A Hydrangea garden covers the entire hill behind the factory, which is one of the biggest gardens in Yamaguchi. In a teahouse and workshop at the foot of the hill, you can try the local cuisine of Yanai "Cha Gayu(rice porridge cooked with roasted tea)" and pottery making as well.
The Hydrangea Festival is held every June and a Confectionary Fair is held every October.
